Enoteca Le Barrique in the center of Florence, in the San Frediano district, offers a tasting experience entirely tailored to the customer’s needs. Whether you are a tourist discovering the region, a wine enthusiast, a couple, or a group celebrating a special occasion like a stag or hen party, Jacopo and his staff will create a personalized journey for you. Our sessions, ranging from 1.5 to 3 hours, are designed for small and large groups (from a minimum of 6 up to a maximum of 25 people) and take place in a suggestive and informal atmosphere, led by AIS-qualified personnel, sommeliers, oenologists, or the producers themselves.

A Journey Through Tuscan, National, and International Labels
We offer tasting paths ranging from great Tuscan wines to treasures from the rest of Italy, including whites, reds, rosés, and sparkling wines, as well as international selections (predominantly from France and Spain). You can choose from vertical or horizontal tastings or engaging comparison sessions: from matches between different regional wines to sensory games to learn how to distinguish a Pinot Noir from a Nebbiolo. Every experience is tailor-made, built according to your requests and desired budget, to guarantee high-value technical insight.

The true added value of our tastings is the gastronomic pairing curated directly by Chef Jacopo. Starting from a basic level, you can elevate the experience with selections of cheeses and cured meats, up to full mini-lunches or dinners where food and wine blend perfectly. Our most popular proposal? A tasting of 3 selected wines accompanied by a platter of cold cuts and cheeses, designed to enhance every single label poured into the glass.
Practical Information and Location
Tastings are held at Enoteca Le Barrique in Florence, in the main room or on our veranda during the summer season, and are also available in English. To ensure the highest quality, the service is available by reservation only: for simpler requests, 1 or 2 days’ notice is sufficient, while for more complex itineraries, we recommend booking further in advance. The basic tasting (Tuscan wines with schiacciata/taralli) starts from 50 euros per person. We also organize special events and themed nights throughout the year.
